Praying Mantis Cleaning

Close-up of a praying mantis perched on green plant stems, showcasing its distinctive raptorial posture and detailed features.

This Mantis is cleaning his claws after a meal. Got to keep them sharp and well maintained to snatch the bees and insects flying by!

Photo taken in Omaha Nebraska in early fall.
