Orion Shines over Sand

Orion and Sirius shine brightly over a snowy sand dune in Great Sand Dunes National Park, Colorado. Took in December 2025. Cold, extremely high winds, whipping sand everywhere. This is the first photo that actually turned out because I accidentally walked into a big dip in the dunes, which protected me from the violent wind and sand. Sometimes the accidental detours provide gems! Stay on the journey.
